By plane with local flight to Tambor – 20 minutes flight, 1 hour taxi ride.
We can book discounted flights for you!

If you plan to spend most of your stay on the beach, you may opt to use local flight company, shuttle or bus transportation.
If you rent a car, we recommend 4×4. There are also car rentals in town.

Yes, we are happy to call a taxi or set up for the most convenient transportation.

We have free and secure parking on the property for our guests.

There are restaurants, shops and surf board rentals just a few minutes walk from the lodge.

We are not beachfront but only 5 minutes walk to the main Santa Teresa surf beach.
We are set back from the street for peace and quiet.

The closest ATM is 2 km from the lodge.

Our AC apartments come with ocean view. Our bungalows have a beautiful garden view.

We do have a restaurant on site and offer convenient food packages on request.
We serve Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. The kitchen is international. Vegetarians are welcome.

Sushi nights are every Wednesday and Saturday from 7 pm until 10 pm.

We have a yoga and aerial silks studio – free use for our guests. We offer yoga and aerial classes for extra charge.

We can arrange surf lessons, ATV or car rentals and any other activity on place. No need for early reservations. There is no extra charge for this service.

As for clothes, you will only need your bikini, shorts, light beach dress, T-shirt, head and flip flops. You may need comfy closed shoes (sports shoes) for a hike to Cabo Blanco reserve or waterfalls.
Leave your high heels at home, you will ruin them here. Pack your favorite cosmetics, sun screen and bug spray.

You can check www.magicseaweed.com for exact swell forecast. There are always waves for advanced surfers as well as beginners. Most of the time, waves are medium size approximately 1 to 3 feet.
If you are a good swimmer you can swim in the lineup, but most likely you will be just playing in the waves.

The local currency is colones, however everyone accepts US dollars. Make sure you pay with smaller bills as the exchange rate is not always very convenient. Our room prices are in US$ so paying with US$ is just fine!

There are 2 seasons during the year.

Green, or rainy season: May, June, September October. It doesn’t necessarily mean it rains all day long, but mostly during the night with short showers during the day. In July and August (or little summer), there is occasional rain, mostly blue sky.

Dry season: November through April. There is no rain, blue sky and sunshine all day long.

The water temperature is almost the same all year round. There is no need for a wetsuit.

Please consider you will be coming to tropics, so yes, you may get a mosquito bite and you will definitively see a spider and other bugs. You will hear monkeys howling for sure, especially early in the morning. You may be lucky to see the whole family as well. Iguanas are very common. It is very rare to see a snake.

Most of our clients are couples, families and singles that like to socialize with others, relax, surf, enjoy the beach and the nature. There is no age restriction.
We also hold surf camps and yoga retreats. We are not a “party hostel” our quiet time is at 11 pm – except special occasions.

We offer a variety of accommodations which is great for larger groups and retreats. If you are a yoga teacher and look for a great spot for your group. we will be happy to help with detailed organization of your retreat.
